I am a Creative Director and Brand Strategist with ten years of practice across Lagos and the Greater Toronto Area. My work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, creative direction, marketing design, and UI/UX, built for companies that need a sharper identity and a product experience strong enough to support it. Recent projects include the Canadian market launch for Johnvents Foods, the design of MYGEECS, a study-abroad platform helping African students discover, compare, and apply to Canadian institutions, and brand direction for Vibe Lifestyle. Earlier agency and freelance work has connected me to brands including Burger King, Pepsi, Samsung, Jameson, and Indomie.

I started inside Nigerian agencies, building campaigns under deadlines that did not allow much room for hedging or rework. That training shaped how I work now. I learned to make decisions quickly, defend them in the room, and stay close to the audience the work is built for. Moving to Canada in 2022 added a second market to that lens. I now design across two cultures, two consumer behaviours, and two creative traditions, which has sharpened how I read briefs and how I separate what a brand actually needs from what it only thinks it needs.

My view is that brand and product are the same conversation, separated by department. The position a brand takes in the market and the way its product feels in someone's hands have to agree, or both fail quietly. I work best with founders, marketing leaders, and product teams who want a partner who can hold both ends of that conversation, write the strategy, and direct the design that proves it. The rest is craft and discipline.

Marketing Designer and Event Coordinator

Campus Living Centres (formerly DMS Properties) • Kitchener, ON
2023 – Present
Lead brand and marketing design across digital, print, and on-site campaigns for a multi-property residential portfolio. Helped pitch and close a $150,000 CAD marketing engagement through proposal design, stakeholder presentations, and narrative-driven visual storytelling. Deploy a $2,000 to $5,000 CAD monthly marketing budget across paid and organic channels, covering spend prioritisation, vendor negotiations, and content production. Coordinate more than 150 events annually, from weekly community programming with 40 to 70 attendees to monthly activations of up to 500 attendees. Elevated the property Google rating to 4.5 stars through reputation management, community-centred programming, and consistent brand communication, while streamlining marketing asset workflows and reducing campaign turnaround time by roughly thirty percent.
